Mining

Minesite rehabilitation is a necessary and integral aspect of the mining, extractive and mineral processing industries in Australia. Many mining and processing operations use large quantities of water in their operations. The treatment and re-use of wastewater for irrigation of revegetation areas, landscaping of camps, and overall reduction of water consumption, allows some of the waste streams which result from mining to be employed constructively, reducing the overall impact of mining on the local environment.
